i got a new job! i am so nervous about it. it pays the same as my current job and it's still an entry level grunt job, just in a different field. i hope it's okay.

i started playing persona 3 yesterday. very excited to keep playing.

have to do an oil change on my car today and i will not cry over having to jack it up even though it's very scary everytime. also decided i will just play video games today since i have the day off and try not to stress about anything. i'm going to make fried rice for dinner hehe.

decided to try to make a simple quiz with html/js for my job as a learning exercise and for fun. "simple" is not a real thing for me when it comes to coding anything.

i did a lot of digging around the internet last night and discovered some cool stuff. learned more about the 'small web'. i feel like i'm at least a little inspired by that. i do miss the internet of my childhood. i think i can come up with a goal with that in mind, contributing to the small web in some way. outside of personal goals, i do have the professional goal of becoming a web developer.

first official blog entry after mostly figuring out how i wanted to handle this page. woo. i feel like it took so much brain power to come to this. i still don't really know what i'll write about in here, but i think that will come with time. this whole website has felt like it's been testing my creativity. i've learned that i'm not very good at creating projects for myself. i find myself thinking "what's the point!", but the point is to have fun? to learn? to create and share? (all of the above actually) i still feel like learning how to code is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
